Time to hit shuffle on the Mellow Dice radio!! What did we come up with this time? It's a song called Cough Syrup by Young the Giant. The song was released before the band called themselves Young the Giant. They called themselves the Jakes until December of 2009. The song was released on their 2008 debut album called Young the Giant. You probably guessed it, but this is the album that they renamed themselves after. The song was written at a time when they weren't well known and didn't get a lot of money. The song is about reaching for something bigger and better than what you have.
