Is it hot in here or is it just Hendrix?

Tuesdays are fantastic in my opinion. This one in particular is pretty awesome. Why? 1942 A legend is born by the name of Paul McCartney who goes on to show that bass players are awesome. 1967 Jimi Hendrix, who took the closing spot from the Who, ended his set at the Monterey Pop Music Festival by setting his guitar on fire. 1974 Rare Earth drummer Peter Hoorelbeke is arrested for throwing his drumsticks into the audience. Those drumsticks are probably worth thousands of dollars on Ebay. 2004 Ray Charles' funeral is held in Los Angeles with performances by the amazing Stevie Wonder, Glen Campbell, B.B. King, Wynton Marsalis, and Willie Nelson. Way to send him off, guys. But back in 1977 Fleetwood Mac was topping the charts with this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrZRURcb1cM
Until next time, roll the Mellow Dice and hope for Midnight.
