The First Knock

Every once in a 100 years a song is written that will never be forgotten. The song that everyone seems to know even if they haven't heard it. A song that everyone can appreciate and love. Bob Dylan wrote some great songs in his life but few have the impact that Knockin' On Heaven's Door has. Unfortunately, other bands cover it too much and most the time their cover is remembered instead of the original. Slowly the original fades away and goes back in the case and collects dust. Tracks like this aren't meant to be collecting dust. They need to be spun to death like they were intended. This song has been covered so much I wouldn't be surprised if people didn't know the original writer. Well the writer is Bob Dylan. Personally, I like this a lot better than Axyl's nail on chalkboard rendition.
